The Metal Voice caught up with THE DEAD DAISIES on their 2023 North American tour in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Tuesday, August 30 at the Theatre Fairmount.
Metal Voicer Alan Dixon summarized the show," John Corabi was made to front The Dead Daisies. His "thousands of barrooms" voice, witty onstage banter, and genuine camaraderie with his brothers in arms had all in attendance, in the palm of his hands throughout the show.
New poolboy Michael Devin's soulful background vocals, and solid bass playing, along with Brian Tichy's energetic return on drums, created a tight rhythm section.
Golden guitar God Doug Aldrich crowd pleasing histrionics are second to none.
So well done, Mr. Lowy, assembling, in my humble opinion, the definitive ensemble of Daisies yet!"

This past May, it was announced that John Corabi, former lead singer of MÖTLEY CRÜE, THE SCREAM and UNION, had officially rejoined THE DEAD DAISIES. The band's current lineup is rounded out by founder/guitarist David Lowy, along with guitarist Doug Aldrich, drummer Brian Tichy and bassist Michael Devin, the latter of whom is playing with THE DEAD DAISIES for the first time.
