The band is Sweden's Nestor, whose new album, Teenage Rebel, drops May 31st. The story goes they formed as teens in the late 1980s - life got in the way, as it does - and they came back together in 2021 to start all over again… but performing the same style they were playing over 30 years earlier.
The result is the most authentic, skilled and original rock with 80s flavor that’s been released since, well, the 80s! It’s like Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi and the best rock artists of the 80s jumped into a time capsule, and out came Nestor .
