Sabaton - one of Europe’s biggest bands will probably never open for anyone, anywhere, ever again. Extremely popular in Montreal, capable of headlining smaller arenas on their own, they were afforded a one hour set time, and allowed props/production, in accordance with their status. Sweden’s greatest export delivered an energetic set spanning their career, and teeming with the historical references they are known for, delighting old fans and seemingly winning new ones. They received a headliner’s response and likely sold as much merch as the actual headliner. Onward and upward for the Swedish Pagans!
