When asked about the Free Outdoor concert in Montreal's Little Italy
'When they (organizers) asked me to do it (Italfest 2026), so I thought about my Dad and how proud he would be, he is not with us anymore. I said you know what it is free, it's a special event. my Dad would love it, So yeah I am coming out of Semi Retirement and I will do that. And I will play for 90 minutes.'
When asked if this is the beginning of more shows to come
'Everybody has been asking me that. I must have had 500 emails asking me that question. I'm not fully retired from playing but I'm fully retired from touring, if you know what that means. Like getting on a bus and having 30,40 gigs or something like that , I'm not going to do that again. But for special events and or for festivals (possibly)
When asked about his current health situation
'Everything is copacetic but my tooth hurts (laughs)'
