Diamond Head's Guitarist Brian Tatler Steps In Replacing Saxon's Paul Quinn For Upcoming Shows

As posted on Saxon's social media today. NWOBHM Diamond Head's guitarist Brian Tatler will be stepping in as the guitarist for Saxon replacing Paul Quinn for touring

Following the official announcement on March 10th 2023 that founding SAXON guitarist PAUL QUINN will step down from touring duties, the band are very pleased to announce that BRIAN TATLER from DIAMOND HEAD will be appearing with Saxon for shows starting July 2023.

Brian joins fellow Guitarist Doug Scarratt, Bassist Nibs Carter, Drummer Nigel Glockler and Vocalist Biff Byford for shows starting 7th July in Athens Greece but will continue to be a member of Diamond Head.

Saxon’s latest album “More Inspirations” featuring a selection of cover tunes from bands that influenced the band over the years is out now on Silver Lining Music

Saxon announced last month that “after much soul searching, our great friend and fellow warrior” Paul Quinn had stepped back from touring with the band.

“After many years on the road, with the subsequent stress and tiredness that accompany long tour schedules, Paul doesn’t want his performance to suffer and let his fellow bandmates and fans down,” a statement said.
