The band hit the stage one guitarist short, Uwe Lulis having recently been let go but they wasted no time proving that the lineup shift hadn’t dulled their edge. As co-headliners with Queensrÿche on this tour, Accept delivered a tight, high-impact greatest-hits–leaning set that made the most of their limited stage time. Even with one less axe in the mix, the performance felt intense and energetic, driven by the band’s trademark precision. As always, Wolf Hoffmann’s guitar work stood out as a centerpiece of the show: sharp, expressive, and delivered with the seasoned confidence that has defined Accept’s sound for decades.

The setlist struck a strong balance between the past and the present. Longtime fans were treated to the essential classics that have shaped Accept’s legacy, but the band also made a point to spotlight material from their more recent albums. Rather than relying solely on nostalgia, they crafted a set that acknowledged their history while showing that their creative fire is still burning. It was a reminder that Accept remains not just a legacy act, but a band still pushing forward.

This tour carries extra weight as the group celebrates its 50th anniversary across 2025 and 2026. Wolf Hoffmann has emphasized in interviews—such as those highlighted on Blabbermouth—that this milestone tour isn’t intended to be a routine greatest-hits run. The band wants it to feel special, something worthy of the half-century mark.

Adding to the anticipation, there’s also talk of a 50th-anniversary studio album arriving in early 2026, featuring re-recorded classics and appearances from notable guest musicians. If the energy of the current tour is any indication, fans can expect a celebratory era that honors Accept’s legacy while continuing to evolve it.
