Jimmy Kay from Canada's The Metal Voice recently interviewed Grammy award wining producer, guitarist Bob Kulick who played classic albums such as Kiss Alive 2 , Kiss Killers , Paul Stanley's Solo album, W.A.S.P. The Crimson Idol, Meatloaf Bad Attitude and so many more.

In this extended interview Kulick spoke about his payment over the years with Kiss and how Kiss Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley can mend fences with him.

When asked about how much money he got for the session work on the studio tracks on Alive 2 Album

"I got paid double scale for KISS Alive Two, essentially $600 for three hours )per song) and it didn't take me three hours to play that stuff.  I'm not somebody who sat there looking at the clock if you can make this last longer you'll make an extra $600 that's not me, I'm a player, a real musician. Did they ever say thank you? No never.  Paul then said to me, Bob you can't tell anybody you played on these songs  I know I'm not gonna tell anybody. I  played guitar solos on Kiss Alive Two, Larger Than Life, All American Man, Rockin in the USA  and then Kiss Killers album Down on your Knees, Partners in Crime, Nowhere to Run, I'm A legend Tonight,  Danger on Creatures of the Night.  I didn't make a fuss I didn't run around telling people that was me show me  some respect is all I ask from them. "

When asked if he had any beefs with Gene Simmons over the years

The Arrogant Gene Simmons, I really like Gene and he has great sense of humor. The multi millionaire asked me to allow him to put my co-writes and performances on The Vault for instance and get paid nothing. So I asked him is there publishing on this? He said nope. I played guitar on it is their performance royalties? Nope. Is there an advance or back-end payment after you sell all these? Nope. So what if I don't agree to this? Well then Bob your songs won't be on there.  Bob says to himself well be better to have them on there than not. That was a little while ago, I no longer feel that way about it. "

When asked What Paul and Gene can do to mend fences

First I would immediately say to them as a  Grammy Award winning producer, here's what we're gonna do come to the studio and we're gonna write a song called  'The End of the Road' maybe Kiss could win a Grammy, so I would start there. You don't need a whole record just one kick-ass great song. I would start there with them, showing me some respect and allowing me to hit home runs for them."

"Second  I would like to see them have Kiss extended family onstage on their last few shows. I think that's what the audience wants, I'm all about  the audience. I want to see so them bring out the guy who played the solo on 'Creatures of the Night' Steve Farris, we know one thing for sure Tommy Thayer can't play that solo. I watched him try here in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock. Really Tommy really did you spend even one second listening to the solo or was the day you just couldn't play it?  Have Steve Farris come out and play it . Then I can come out and play 'Larger Than Life', then Bruce can come out and play whatever it is he wants to play. Maybe they can even make a video of it sell it. Have all of the people from their career on stage, Anton fig or even Desmond Child should be involved certainly singing background vocals or something since he wrote some of those songs.

Bob elaborated on his recent Facebook Post attacking his Brother Bruce Kulick & Kiss' Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley

He told The Metal Voice. "I'm not talking about suing anybody I'm not talking about legal action. I am about to play the game with these people who after 46 years have showed me very little respect for what I've done. I'm not paying one penny to do anything legal to these people because it's not worth it to get into a circumstance where they will immediately do what they've always done which is to see whose pockets are deeper. I'm not saying there's any money owed to me other than what's owed to me from this merchandise, that's all and how much could it be? I'm just being honest it's a copyright infringement this is mainly being done not to collect the money that they owe me, this is not about that what it's about is respect.  Sometimes you have to show people that they need to respect.  I'm a Grammy award-winning producer with 17 platinum or gold records I played lead guitar on a number-one hit single Diana Ross' 'Why Do Fools Fall In Love."
