CLIFTON, NJ - HAMBURG, GERMANY (JULY 9, 2018) – Doro Pesch, affectionately referred to as "The Metal Queen," by industry and fans alike, will be Inducted into The Hall of Heavy Metal History in 2018. The Ceremony will take place August 3, 2018, on-stage at Wacken Open Air, the world's largest Heavy Metal festival.

What makes this induction even more special, is the fact that it takes place in front of 80.000 Metal maniacs right after our 35 Year Anniversary Show at the world famous Wacken Open Air in my home country of Germany!”

About Wacken Open Air
Wacken Open Air (W:O:A), is the world's largest Heavy Metal music festival. Over 80,000 metal fans attend the Annual event. It takes place in the village of Wacken, in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany. The festival was first held in 1990 as a small event for local German bands with about 800 fans. W:O:A is usually held at the beginning of August and lasts four days.
