CLIFTON, NJ, (January 19, 2018) – Megadeth Bassist Dave Ellefson will Induct late Megadeth drummer Nick Menza into the Hall of Heavy Metal History, at the Annual Hall of Heavy Metal History Induction Ceremony, January 24, 2018, at the Wyndham Anaheim Garden Grove. Nick will be Inducted alongside Black Sabbath Drummer and founding member Bill Ward, Dream Theater Keyboardist Jordan Rudess, Bass virtuoso Billy Sheehan, Anvil, Exodus, and other metal royalty. Menza family members will be on hand to accept the Induction on Nick's behalf.
"Nick Menza was an inspiration for both Megadeth fans, and metal drummers around the world," says Hall of Heavy Metal History President/CEO Pat Gesualdo. "It is a great honor to have Nick Inducted into the Hall of Heavy Metal History, and to have his legacy preserved in metal music forever."
Red Carpet is at 5:00PM, with doors open to General Public at 7:00pm.Proceeds benefit the non-profit organization Drums and Disabilities (D.A.D.) to help disabled children with the Drum Therapy.
