Jimmy Kay spoke to David John Ross the current guitarist of the band NWOBHM band MORE, which Chris Tsangarides had also been a member of and guitarist since 2012. Ross told The Metal Voice,” Chris Tsangarides co-wrote, produced and played on some new music with the current members of MORE and the music will surface in the near future an entire album of material which had been in negotiations for release prior to Chris' untimely death. More are a UK heavy metal band who were part of the new wave of British Heavy Metal scene in the early 1980s. They recorded two albums and two singles, and opened the German 1981 Rock Summer Night at Stuttgart and Darmstadt in August 1981, as well as the Monsters of Rock festival at Donington Park one week later.
Remaining band members include: Baz Nicholls (bass) Mike Freeland (vocals) Steve Rix (drums) Dave John Ross (guitars)
Initially the band was fronted by vocalist Paul Mario Day, who had sung in an early incarnation of Iron Maiden.
Legendary Rock/Heavy Metal producer Chris Tsangarides passed away Sunday, January 7 According to his daughter Anastasia Tsangarides, Chris was battling pneumonia and heart failure at the time of his death. He was 61 years old.
